Tanisha Crockett is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate primary care to patients of all ages across Delaware. She focuses on preventive health, chronic disease management, and patient education. She is currently pursuing her Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certificate at Chamberlain University, so she can care for the mind and the body together.

Tanisha has more than 25 years of healthcare experience, including 21 years in nursing. She began as a respiratory therapist and then built a strong critical care foundation. She spent 10 years in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and 8 years in the Cardiac Electrophysiology Operative Unit at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. For the past six years, she has practiced as an FNP in internal medicine, occupational health, and urgent care settings.

Treatment Approach

Tanisha practices patient-centered, whole-person care grounded in evidence and built on trust. She has a special passion for serving communities affected by health disparities. Outside the clinic, she enjoys reading, time with her grandchildren and fur baby, serving in her church’s Health and Wellness Ministry, and traveling abroad with her husband.

“Every patient who walks through my door has a story. My job is to listen to it, honor it, and help them write a healthier next chapter.”
