Omnia Ahmed, Graduate Clinical Intern
Hi there, my name is Omnia Ahmed. I’m a graduate student at Johns Hopkins University studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Mental Health has always been a passion of mine. I’ve gone through and can understand how difficult It can be when life throws you unexpected and difficult obstacles. Therapy has saved myself and many others I know, and I strive to help by guiding you through your personalized journey of self-healing.
My special interests include the emerging adult population, those with marginalized identities, underrepresent communities, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, personality disorders, relationship issues, stress, school related issues, eating disorders, self-esteem and more. I take a person centered approach with a focus on CBT. However, I like to collaborate with a client to find the best approach that works best for them.
“Healing does not mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls our lives.”
